Appendix: Citations of this Charter
This Charter is organized into Articles, Sections, Subsections, Clauses, Subclauses, and Paragraphs.
Roman numerals enumerate Articles.
Arabic numerals enumerate Sections and Clauses.
Capital letters enumerate Subsections.
Lowercase letters in parentheses enumerate Subclauses.
Arabic numerals in subscript enumerate Paragraphs where necessary.
For uniformity, the proper citation is either to fully spell out the citation (ex. “Article I, Section 2, Subsection B, Clause 2, Subclause (a), Paragraph (a1)”). Alternatively, a citation can be Article, Section.Subsection.Clause(SubclauseParagraph (ex. “Article I, Section 2.B.2(a1)”)
This citation scheme has no legal force, but following it will ensure uniformity of usage.
